On June 29, our Summer issue cover stars Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz gathered beneath the stars on the rooftop terrace of the Cartier Mansion in New York City to celebrate the couple's first cover together, shot by photographer Jamel Shabazz. Guests in attendance included Bernadette Hitt of Cartier, executive director of the Gordon Parks Foundation Peter Kunhardt, Jr., Jamel Shabazz, Katherine Brinson, Jacolby Satterwhite, Vanessa Bronfman, Maxwell, Jordan Casteel, Nina Chanel Abney, Derrick Adams and Hank Willis Thomas, among many other notable attendees from the realms of art, fashion and culture.
