Last year, over $60 billion changed hands in the U.S. art market, and if even a small portion of those funds could go to a good cause, the potential for change would be enormous. That’s why, this year, CULTURED lended its support for ARTWALK NY's annual gala, benefitting the Coalition for the Homeless

Last night, guests—including philanthropists Vincent and Shelly Fremont, advisor Anwarii Musa, gallerist Tina Kim, Hauser & Wirth’s Jonathan Gardenhire, and artists Enoc Perez and Sophie Elgort—gathered at the Chelsea Factory for an evening of awareness and fundraising, presented by Max Mara. Following a live auction, the event honored artist Katherine Bradford and philanthropist Aileen Agopian for their contributions to the arts and activism respectively. Attendees enjoyed music by DJs Oscar Nñ and Ushka, while savoring cocktails from Via Carota

The evening raised over $700,000 in support of the Coalition’s programs, which serve more than 3,500 homeless and low-income individuals daily. “Everybody deserves a home. Those five words are why we’re here tonight,” said the Coalition’s Executive Director David Giffen. “The Coalition for the Homeless is helping thousands of men, women, and children every day. The only reason we are able to do that is because of you.”
