It’s that time of year again. The art world has descended upon London for Frieze, parting the British city’s overcast skies with a deluge of collectors, artists, and dealers alike.

To celebrate the annual rendezvous, CULTURED’s Editor-in-Chief Sarah Harrelson and European Contributor Georgina Cohen teamed up with Maison Estelle Creative Director and Owner Eiesha Bharti Pasricha to host an intimate breakfast at the members-only club in Mayfair.

Among the diners were Chanel’s Global Head of Arts and Culture Yana Peel; photographers Mary McCartney and Maryam Eisler; actors Ellie Bamber and Megan Smart; Lauren Silverman; Marfa Stance’s Georgia Dant; and collectors Komal Shah, Michelle Rubell, and Maria Sukkar. The group made their way into the exclusive Georgian townhouse, where no photography is allowed.

A light breakfast was served over conversation about the deluge of art on view across town. Gathering some of London's most influential women in the worlds of art, fashion, and entrepreneurship is a feat worth celebrating in and of itself, but the morning was also an ode to the ever-evolving local scene. With Frieze and Frieze Masters on view through Oct. 13, and exhibitions of the highest caliber taking over the city's institutions this fall (think Lauren Halsey at the Serpentine, Mire Lee at the Tate Modern, and Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum at the Barbican), it's clear that London hasn't lost its touch.
