Fall in Venice brings a turning of leaves, a chill in the air, and Bottega Veneta’s first line of fragrances under Creative Director Matthieu Blazy. Steeped in the brand’s signature savoir faire and innovative heritage, the collection explores the city's signature sensuality. From the craftsmanship of the bottles to the international array of scents, every fragrance proves a celebration of the fashion house’s home, and is made to evolve with the wearer through the tactility of motion.

Each of the scents—Colpo di Sole, Come with Me, Acqua Sale, Déjà Minuit, and Alchemie—investigate the aromas of the Mediterranean with a global assortment of 100 percent natural origin essences. From the fragrance to the bottle, Bottega Veneta embraces the international flair of a city built on cultural and material exchange. Each scent crafts an olfactory Intrecciato—the signature leather stitch of Bottega Veneta’s woven bags.

The specificity and tactility of the fragrances extends to their bottles. Each is crafted to mimic the Venetian art of Murano glassblowing and contains an array of bubbles made to mimic the aquatic fluidity of Venice’s lagoon. With engraved metallic rings and earthy, wooden caps, the fragrances are refillable and designed with sustainability in mind. The influence of Venetian wooden stilts on the caps and pedestals crafted from Venice’s signature marble mean each unique bottle carries a piece of the storied city.

Whether it be the glassblowing highlighted in the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2024 show space, or the marble featured in its store windows, Bottega Veneta is crafting a material language spoken by every facet of the house. To sport the scent is to weave oneself in with its essence.
