On June 9, the Glass House hosted its annual Summer Party on its sprawling 49 acres of greenery. Guests were invited to a farm-to-table picnic by South End and games of ping-pong and oversized chess while band Brooklyn Rider played music by Philip Glass and John Cage. Invited to explore the property from every angle, attendees were able to get a preview of the planned restoration of the Brick House's interior using VR headgear. Inside the Painting Gallery, the Glass House exhibited works from its permanent collection. Artist Jenny Holzer created two limited edition mirrors, In a Glass House and Certainly Sex, in support of the iconic house. A Paddle8 benefit auction featured works by Andrea Zittel, Dustin Yellin, Lawrence Weiner, Lindsey Adelman, The Haas Brothers and Rita Ackermann among a variety of art and design objects.
