On the Friday of Paris Fashion Week, Christian Louboutin gave his newly reimagined signature stiletto La Pigalle an evocative stage for the House’s Spring/Summer 2027 show. At the Théâtre du Châtelet, the evening’s performance opened in a world where enchantment had been forgotten, until burlesque legend Dita Von Teese appeared. With her ebony hair and snow-pale skin, she took the Snow White fairy tale and painted it Louboutin red as a distinguished crowd—including Cynthia Erivo, Jean Paul Gaultier, Law Roach, and Daphne Guinness—watched on with delight.
The Entertainment: Set to music by conductor Mathieu Herzog, Von Teese gave a burlesque performance to remember, with La Pigalle as her dynamic scene partner. She rose from a monumental black stiletto in a starlit curtain of violet light, then took aim at a giant projected face with a gilded revolver.
The Crowd: Guests on the scene for each stage of the show included designers Christian Louboutin, Stephen Jones, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Matières Fécales’ Steven Raj Bhaskaran and Hannah Rose Dalton; Christian Louboutin Men’s Creative Director Jaden Smith; photographer Ellen von Unwerth; stylist Law Roach; writer Derek Blasberg; style authority Daphne Guinness; patron Allison Sarofim; actors Cynthia Erivo, Elizabeth Debicki, and Milly Alcock; musicians Kelsea Ballerini and Bree Runway; models Heidi Klum and Adot Gak; entrepreneur Huda Kattan; and fashion tastemakers Caroline Daur, Courtney Trop, and Alejandro Zwartendijk.
Memorable Moment: Georgian dancers from the Bachada Dance Company circled below Von Teese, as a scarlet-uniformed sentry peered through the smoke. At the performance’s closure, Von Teese removed her bralette to reveal sparkle-encrusted pasties, while her sentry soared into the air on overhead stage pulleys.
Cause for FOMO: With fashion royalty filling the room and Von Teese reigning over the action, in a rare appearance outside of Vegas, where she’s been in residencies for the last three years, the spectacle delivered exactly the kind of PFW rush that makes staying home feel particularly regrettable.
