As New York Fashion Week roared into action this past week, Montblanc threw a star-studded fête to commemorate the brand’s 100th anniversary. Since the line’s inception, the craft house has expanded its leather and pen-packed purview into wallets, watches, notebooks, carrier bags, luggage, and more—showcasing a singular story (and a cheeky sense of pomp) for a big night out.

The Location: Guests were treated to an evening at the vibrant, art-deco Chelsea haunt, Crane Club, helmed by chef Melissa Rodriguez. Between sweeping chandeliers, passed silver trays of small bites, and a throng of well-coiffed guests, the room was humming.

The Scene: Montblanc’s leather goods were placed throughout the restaurant, with a large-scale installation of the Writing Traveler briefcase greeting guests, as well as serving as the backdrop for the celebration’s photos. Stars mingled with drinks amidst a host of Montblanc offerings, with Grammy-winning DJ Honey Dijon setting the soundtrack.

The Guest List: Celebrating the Maison’s milestone anniversary were actors Paul Anthony Kelly, Jamie Campbell Bower, Will Peltz, Alexandra Daddario, Rupert Friend, Seo Kang-joon, Paul Wesley, Kerem Bürsin, Alfonso Herrera, and Waris Ahluwalia; filmmaker Roman Coppola; models Karen Elson and Kenya Kinski-Jones; and Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece.

Cause for FOMO: In a nod to the brand’s design heritage and signature customized gifts, guests were invited to personalize a cache of small Montblanc leather goods at the on-site Montblanc desk. The celebratory spirit of the anniversary was also captured at a postcard station, which allowed guests to jot down and mail out memories of the revelrous evening.
