How do the glitterati party? On a buzzy Wednesday night downtown, CULTURED found out by joining a model’s circle for a revelrous night out.

On Wednesday night, the next-gen fashion set (and a small fortune in 925 sterling silver) descended on Little Italy for jewelry house Tyger by the Tail’s New York debut. Hosted by model Stella Jones, the celebration brought Lila Moss, Jake Shane, and friends to an intimate Little Italy penthouse, for an evening that doubled as a birthday fête for Jones.

The Locale: The Spot, chef and entrepreneur Jonah Reider’s private loft in Little Italy, welcomed guests with wine at the door. Floral arrangements punctuated the candlelit space, with Reider overseeing everything from flower stems to the menu’s coordination, lending the proceedings an unrushed ease that carried the birthday festivities late into the night.

The Occasion: Tyger by the Tail’s New York debut, a milestone for a label founded in a university bedroom during the pandemic. Five years later, founder Amelia Heard and CEO Celia Marment gathered their friends and supporters to toast the brand’s transatlantic success, with Jones’s birthday adding another cause for celebration.

The Crowd: Joining Jones were fellow models Lila Moss, Lily Chee, Antoine Waldner, Hugo Dacquet, and Grace Burns; comedian and podcast host Jake Shane; fashion and culture tastemakers Ashtin Earle, Ruby Lyn, and Sally Carden; and editor Minty Mellon.

Food and Drink: The Spot’s in-house team served fresh sourdough with cultured butter, seasonal salads, and strip steak with crispy potatoes and market lettuce. Martinis and gimlets made the rounds before dessert brought a memorable pairing: a towering, two-tier birthday cake for Jones bedecked in blue frosting and accompanied by espresso martini shots.

Parting Gift: Jewelry was dotted throughout the penthouse, while each place setting featured a custom Tyger by the Tail silver cigarette case filled with slims. Guests also received personalized boxes of jewelry, with special pieces bearing their recipients’ initials.
