On a crisp Tuesday morning in Snowmass, arts patron (and CULTURED Aspen issue cover star) Jorge M. Pérez joined the Aspen Art Museum on a special tour of his property’s 200-acre sculpture garden—a breathtaking expanse of green space and sculpture that’s normally only available by appointment.
The Scene: Pérez personally led guests through his outdoor holdings, sharing stories behind the works, the artists who made them, and his own approach to collecting, in partnership with the Aspen Art Museum. The recently established Pérez Fund for Public Access also offers ongoing support to the museum’s educational and public engagement activities, as well as Spanish bilingual programming.
Food & Drink: The breakfast fare included light bites such as homemade granola parfaits, freshly-baked pastries, and quiches for snacking while exploring the rolling expanse of the sculpture garden.
Parting Gift: Postcards from Pérez’s art space, El Espacio 23, and a copy of CULTURED‘s Aspen issue with the esteemed host himself on the cover.
