Who says water can’t be the toast of the town? On Oct. 14, cult-favorite water staple Loonen and The Infatuation cozied up for an intimate dinner at Marcel on the Upper East Side. Bringing together familiar faces from the city’s culinary, art, and creative circles, the gathering celebrated good taste in any form, from what was on the plate to what was poured into the glass.

The Occasion: Infatuation CEO Paul Needham was an early Loonen fan, and he’s in good company. The glass bottle has been spotted in the hands of everyone from Dua Lipa to Tinx since it hit the market in December 2025. Loonen and Infatuation united their respective worlds for an evening celebrating New York’s culinary and creative communities, with guests refreshed and rehydrated as the night wore on.

The Locale: The suave dining room at Marcel, tucked inside the Sotheby’s headquarters at the front of the Breuer Building, set the scene for the intimate affair. The space’s private dining room and collection of fine china and art served as a sumptuous backdrop for the festivities.

The Crowd: Guests around the table included Loonen co-founder and CEO Clara Sieg; entrepreneurs Tracy Dubb and Arianna Huffington; actor B.J. Novak; restaurateur Ignacio Mattos; Infatuation CEO Needham; investor and tastemaker Selby Drummond; and executive Danny Shea.

Food and Drink: The evening’s menu featured Loonen, of course, alongside oysters, scallops, lobster claws, and other fruits de mer, followed by a choice of filet au poivre or salmon with herb butter and wilted spinach. Berries and cream rounded out the meal.
