On June 27, Cultured touched down in the Windy City to to celebrate the site-specific sculpture commission by Tomás Saraceno curated by Andrea Hazen of Hazen Art Advisory at One Bennett Park, a luxurious skyscraper envisioned by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The evening commenced with Saraceno—whose reflective piece marks the artist’s first public work in Chicago—in conversation with MCA Chicago Chief Curator Michael Darling. Following the discussion, guests including Planned Realty's Bob Buford, The Art Institute's Chair of Architecture and Design Zoe Ryan, Related MidWest's President Curt and his wife Lisa Bailey, made their way to the fourth floor of the building and sipped on Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin while admiring the captivating Chicago skyline.
