Young Artists 2019
We spent the year growing, maturing and thinking about how expansion might be both outward and inward. When we returned to our desks, our fourth annual young artists list wrote itself—made over in the vision of a more inclusive world, one in which comedians, sculptors, photographers, painters, designers and actors are no longer separated by arbitrary boundaries but rather sat next to each other in a creative support system. The names we included in this year’s iteration exemplify a cultural ecology where enrichment begins with the deep and diverse interests of its members.
