For one night only, a coterie of theater tastemakers eased their awards-season nerves with refreshing drinks and lively conversation.

On Tuesday night, Broadway’s brightest stars and patrons gathered for a celebration with Williamstown Theatre Festival ahead of the 2026 Tony Awards. Between flowing cocktails and animated conversations about the season’s best performances, guests toasted to another year of standout work on and off the stage (while reminiscing on past summers spent in the Berkshires, of course).

The Locale: The Civilian Hotel’s Rosevale cocktail room provided an appropriately dramatic backdrop for the occasion. The intimate space buzzed with pre-awards anticipation, with attendees comparing predictions for the ceremony ahead.

The Crowd: Choreographers Ani Taj, Christopher Cree Grant, and Lauren Yalango-Grant were moving smoothly through the crowd, as were director Jonathan McCrory and playwright Bess Wohl; producers, Cody Lassen, Henry Chan, Rachel Sussman,, Olivier Sultan, Michael McElroy, Chuck Leachman, Mickey Feigelson, and Jenny Gersten; actors Edred Utomi and Hannah Cruz; composers Georgia Stitt, Jason Robert Brown, Dan Schlosberg; Williamstown Theatre Festival Board Chair Margaret Gould Stewart; Williamstown Theatre Festival Managing Directors Kit Ingui and Raphael Picciarelli, and theater executive Aria Schuler.

Memorable Moment: Current Oh Mary! star Hannah Solow made an appearance mid-toast, navigating the room with her trademark poise.

Parting Gift: Guests perused copies of CULTURED‘s CULT100 issue throughout the evening, and served as the event’s  take-home treat after a night packed with theatrical revelry.

Cause for FOMO: Not being a Tony nominee amidst a room packed with the industry’s most celebrated entertainers.
