Before the lights went down and the first model walked onto the runway, writer, podcaster, and cultural critic Tefi Pessoa prepared for Dior’s latest show the only way she knew how: fully committed to the bit. At Château Marmont, Pessoa glazed her skin with Dior Beauty patches and offered a stream of commentary to CULTURED worthy of a classic studio-era starlet.
The day was documented through a distinctly Hollywood lens worthy of her locale—elegantly suave with just a dash of showmanship. Between final beauty touches and notes on the intricate craftsmanship of her look, Pessoa brought us behind the scenes of sitting courtside at Dior’s biggest night yet this year.

I’m so excited to be here! The collection is inspired by old Hollywood, so my extensive movie knowledge is going to pay off.

Skin prep with Dior Beauty eye patches, obviously.

Final glam touches with Dior Beauty and dream team make-up artist Katrina Klein and hair stylist Ryan Richman.

Oh, didn’t see you there!

What is more Hollywood than Château Marmont?

Memorizing my seat assignment. I still forgot it.

Staying caffeinated and hydrated.

Don’t leave your room service unattended!

The coolest parts of my look are the little details. You may not notice them at first, but when you do, you appreciate the pieces even more.

First look of the venue. Do you think I can take this home with me?

Immediate room service order post-show. Thank you for having me Dior and CULTURED <3.
