Selena Gomez, Olivia Wilde, Pamela Anderson, and More Celebrate Women in Cinema at the Academy Museum

Academy President Janet Yang in Chanel at the Academy Women’s Luncheon.

Female faces in film came together yesterday to support the next generation of filmmakers helping build and innovate the industry. The dress code? Chanel.

The star-studded luncheon, hosted by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in partnership with the iconic fashion house, brought screen giants such as Selena Gomez, Ava DuVernay, Amy Adams, Pamela Anderson, Ariana Grande, Sarah Paulson, and Olivia Wilde together in Los Angeles to celebrate the Academy Gold Fellowship for Women. This one-year program combines support, personalized mentorship, and access to once-in-a-lifetime networking opportunities for emerging women directors.

The afternoon featured opening remarks by the Academy's President, Janet Yang, who addressed the crowd by expressing her gratitude to Chanel for their generosity and long-lasting support of the Fellowship. “Together,” said Yang, “we continue to break barriers and empower the next generation of women in our industry.”

Following an afternoon of celebration, guests left outfitted in the fashion house's best. From vintage finds and Spring/Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear to fine jewelry from Chanel's "Coco Crush" collection, one thing was certain... the film world looks great in Chanel.
