Trove just gave your jewels a serious upgrade.
With the launch of its New York flagship, the company takes one step further in reimagining the treasure chest with a modern twist. Nestled in the heart of the West Village, Trove's first U.S. store is a masterclass in elegance, featuring olive velvet walls, towering glass cabinets, and a private lounge for exclusive viewings to set the stage for your most cherished pieces.
“We wanted it to feel warm—like trying on jewelry at home with a friend. We even included a ‘dressing table’ moment for clients to enjoy,” Seth Gravelyn, the brand's director, tells CULTURED.
Founded by Melbourne-based designer Hannah Ward, Trove has turned the preservation of cherished belongings into an art form. Now making its mark in the U.S. market through a partnership with serial entrepreneur Jen Rubio, the brand reimagines traditional lacquerware while safeguarding precious jewelry, objects, and family heirlooms.
What sets Trove apart? Its unwavering dedication to meticulous craftsmanship. “A single Trove box can take up to six months to create due to its unique structure and lacquered finish,” Gravelyn shares. The New York flagship is the next step in that search for the pinnacle of savoir-faire, introducing the Designer in Residence program, where guests can purchase curated collections from choice makers. “The program was born from a desire to support both emerging and established designers by offering them an intimate space to showcase their work,” says Gravelyn.
First to take the spotlight is high jeweler Fernando Jorge, renowned for his organic, fluid shapes and signature Brazilian aesthetic. "We collaborate with artists whose pieces are true art forms and highly collectible, and Fernando's collections epitomize this," says Gravelyn.
Now open to the public at the corner of Bank and West 4th, Trove’s flagship is sure to become a landmark of the West Village—a neighborhood synonymous with timeless heirlooms and exquisite design—in no time.
