Artists, collectors, designers, and more flocked to the Hamptons last Saturday to celebrate the opening of Mytheresa and Flamingo Estate’s Summer Body Shop. CULTURED Editor-in-Chief Sarah Harrelson, Mytheresa North American President Heather Kaminetsky, and Flamingo Estate Founder Richard Christiansen welcomed guests, who perused the unique activation space and sipped cocktails, a fitting kick-off to the 4th of July holiday weekend and a celebration of the steamy weather rolling across the East Coast.
Following the 2022 collaboration between the two brands last holiday season, Mytheresa and Flamingo Estate have come together once again with a summer-long pop-up housed in an old auto body shop in East Hampton. In the spirit of the location, shelves are constructed out of tires and clothing racks hang on car lifts. Offering a wide variety of products including clean skincare, daily essentials, and luxury clothing, the “Inconvenience Shop” stocks lifestyle goods where cheap snacks and auto repair parts been found.
Attendees—including Joel Mesler, Rashid Johnson, Sheree Hovsepian, Kelly Behun, Vanessa Barboni Hallik, Nazy Nazhand, Casey Fremont, Jodi Guber Brufsky, Shari Siadat, Stephanie Nass, Alex Logsdail, Skylar Pittman, Trudy Cejas, and more—perused the bespoke collection, cocktails in hand. Ahead of the event, guests were welcome to shop a Mytheresa and CULTURED Edit curated by Sarah Harrelson. The digital collection features swimsuits, sunnies, minidresses, and more from brands including Gucci, The Row, Victoria Beckham, and Bottega Veneta.
The immersive shopping experience from Mytheresa and Flamingo Estate will be open every Thursday to Sunday through July 30. In addition to the private event hosted Friday evening, daily programming including designer appearances, lessons in floral arranging, and beauty makeovers will be offered to all customers.
